Rentals

Throwing a birthday party? Hosting a picnic? Planning a company softball game? We've got you covered! The Stanton City Park offers many rentable attractions to help you with your next event. Each rental duration is 2 hours. Certain attractions have further restrictions; such as the Splash Park can only be rented after our normal operating hours, which usually means 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Also, Stanton City Park sports leagues make use of some of the fields during the season, which may conflict with your desired rental window.

Rental process:

  1. Figure out which one of our Attractions you would like to rent.

  2. Check the Park Calendar and make sure your date is available.

  3. Submit a Rental Application.

  4. An invoice will be sent to your email address and you can pay for your event online.

  5. Once you have paid, your rental will be locked in.

    • Note that your date is not reserved until you pay your invoice and may be reserved by another person who pays first.

  6. Once paid, your rental will be listed on our Park Calendar, preventing anyone else from reserving that attraction for that date & time.

Note: We can only rent the Splash Park to private parties after we close. You can view the hours for the Splash Park on our Attractions page.

If you were unable to make your reservation, you can request a refund by filling out our Rental Refund Request form.

Events & Tournaments

Do you wish to host a large event at the city park? A charity drive or 5K? A corporate outing? A baseball or soccer tournament? We can handle that too, though the process is a little bit more involved. For large events, you'll need to follow our hosting process.

Hosting process:

  1. Check the Park Calendar and make sure your date is available.

  2. Submit a Hosting Request.

  3. If approved, you must file your event insurance with the City Clerk at Stanton City Hall. You can also email it to CityClerk@stantonky.gov.

    • If you are hosting a sports tournament, you have two options for insurance:

      • Event Insurance - You can cover all teams with an event insurance policy for at least $1,000,000.

      • Individual Team Insurance - You can be responsible for ensuring each team has their own $1,000,000 liability policy.

    • In both cases, copies of the Certificate of Liability (COL) must be submitted to the City Clerk prior to playing.

  4. An invoice will be sent to your email address and you can pay for your event online.

  5. Once paid, your event will be added to our calendar and your date will be reserved.

If you were unable to host your event, you can request a refund by filling out our Rental Refund Request form.

Vendors

While we are proud of what our concession stand offers, we realize that many people in our community are able to offer unique items that we simply don't have the capacity to provide. That's why we are thrilled to host vendors at the Stanton City Park.

Vendor process:

  1. All vendors must apply and be approved by the Stanton City Parks & Rec board (application below).

  2. All vendors must pay a $25.00 fee per day to set up at the park.

    • If you require electricity, an additional $15.00 charge will be added to the fee.

  3. If you're a vendor serving a charity, festival, or other event hosted at the park, you may apply to obtain a waiver from any of the fees.

    • Large events may be granted a blanket approval for vendors.

  4. All vendors must be required to hold their own business license, insurance, and food handling permits (when applicable). The Stanton City Park does not provide any coverage to any vendor for any reason.

  5. An invoice will be sent to your email address and you can pay for your event online.
