Attractions
Our goal at the Stanton City Park is to provide a safe and fun environment that the whole family can enjoy. Part of that involves a diverse set of offering attractions that can be enjoyed by the whole family. From the Splash Park and playgrounds for the kids, to the walking trail and live music for the parents; we hope everyone will find something to enjoy when visiting our park.

Splash Park
We offer a play area with over 2100 square feet of water features that will keep children entertained for hours. Some splash water around, some drop water from the air, and others shoot from the ground. The space can accommodate over 50 children at any one time. There's an umbrella-covered sitting area inside the Splash Park so you can watch the children run around and have the time of their lives. There's an adjacent pavilion that is a perfect spot to host a birthday party.

The cost of admission is $3.00 per child, per day. Please enter and pay through the Concession Stand. We can only rent the Splash Park to private parties after we close.

Playgrounds
We have two great playgrounds at the Stanton City Park. The Red Playground is located in between the youth baseball fields and the basketball courts. The Green Playground is located in the back of the park beside the youth soccer field and t-ball field. The Green Playground features a wheelchair-compatible swing.
Concession Stand
Our Concession Stand is open during the day and while events are taking place at the park. We offer a wide variety of drinks, snacks, and other items to enjoy while you're at the City Park. During larger events, we offer special items that are not usually available on our menu.

Walking Trail
The walking trail is a paved track that runs through the park. The Long Path circumvents the park, while the Short Path bisects it. As you walk along the track, you can take in the natural beauty in the park, as well as some of our attractions. The walking track is popular with early morning and late evening walkers. If you have pets, that's no problem. We have clean-up stations along the trail in case your pets has to answer the call of nature.
Baseball Field
We're proud to be the home of the Powell County High School Baseball Team. In addition to the baseball field, we offer two youth baseball fields that host our Youth Baseball League. All of our fields are maintained regularly and are cared for by our Park staff, as well as a crew of passionate volunteers. Basketball Court
We offer two full-length, regulation basketball courts at the Stanton City Park. We have lights that come on in the evening to accommodate varying work schedules. The courts are enclosed in a fence to keep all basketballs (and children) inside the court.

Soccer Field
We're proud to offer multiple soccer fields at the Stanton City Park. We have youth fields that are designed for elementary aged children who are just learning how to play the game. We also offer nearly 56,000 square feet of soccer area that can be configured for multiple youth games, or regulation middle school/high school play (60 yards X 100 yards).
Pavilions
We offer two pavilions at the City Park. The Splash Park Pavilion is located beside our Splash Park. The Playground Pavilion is located in the rear of the park beside the Green Playground. Both pavilions are rentable and serve as excellent gathering locations for children's birthdays, reunions, and other get-togethers.
The Sheltered Stage
Our Sheltered Stage is located beside our Splash Park Pavilion and is adjacent to our main parking lot. It's powered, well lit, and features over 2100 square feet of assembly space, allowing for entertainment that can keep going when the sun goes down. The Sheltered Stage regularly hosts Music in the Park. It's also the center focal point for the Corn Festival.
