Scholarships

We want every child to have the opportunity to participate in sports, regardless of league costs. This is why we offer scholarships for each league we host. If you are in need of assistance, you may apply for a scholarship to any one of our leagues. Unfortunately, we only have a limited number of scholarships we can provide per league. To increase your chance of getting a scholarship, you may wish to reach out to the Family Resource Center or Youth Services Center of your child's school to seek a referral. Include the name of the person who referred you. We will follow up with them to help prioritize your application.

If your application is approved, you will receive a unique code that you can use to apply a discount to our online registration.

Please refer to the posted registration dates to see the final day to apply for a scholarship. All approved scholarship applications will receive their discount codes after the scholarship registration window closes. If you apply for a scholarship after the registration window, we may be unable to offer a scholarship if we have already reached our maximum allowed scholarships.

Sports League Scholarship Sponsor

Are you interested in sponsoring or purchasing scholarships? We offer different options to fit your needs. You can purchase any number of scholarships codes and distribute those yourself, you can donate directly to the Parks & Rec Scholarship fund, or you can even anonymously send a scholarship to an individual.

We have a many different types of sponsorships to choose from:

  • Private Scholarships: This allows you to purchase scholarship codes that you distribute yourself. This can be for an individual or to a group, such as your employees or co-workers. The cost will be the same as the current registration cost at the time of submission.

  • Anonymous Scholarship: Just like the Private Scholarships except we take care of notifying the recipient. The cost will be the same as the current registration cost at the time of submission. You will need to provide contact information for the recipient so we can send them the scholarship information.

  • Parks & Rec Scholarship Fund Donation: This will be a donation to the Parks & Rec scholarship fund which will expand our ability to provide individuals in need with the opportunity to register their kids at no cost when they submit Scholarship Applications on our website. The cost will be the regular registration fee (no early bird discounts or late fees).

Sports Sponsorships
Sports Sponsorships Advertising

If you're interested in advertising your business/organization with a sign on one of our fields at the Stanton City Park, please apply below.

Sports league sponsorships are good for a single sign for one year (non-prorated). For additional signs, please submit an application for each extra sign.

The cost for the sponsorship is $250 per year. You will be responsible for providing a sign that complies with our guidelines. Some general guidelines are:

  • The sign cannot contain any inappropriate material, such as profanity, explicit images, or drugs or alcohol.

  • The sign cannot promote a political candidate, political organization, or political cause.

  • The sign can be no bigger than 4' wide by 3' tall.

  • The signs cannot contain reflective material that may interfere with the safety of sports participants.

  • The park reserves the right to refuse to post a sign for any reason they deem fit.

Once you submit your application, someone from the Stanton City Park will reach out to your point-of-contact directly to finalize the placement of your sign.

Refunds

If you need to request a refund for any reason, please submit a Refund Request and we'll begin the process of issuing your refund. Please be patient as we work towards getting you your refund. Due to auditing requirements, we require some exact information from each refund request. Refunds could take 2-4 weeks to process.

Zero Tolerance

For all Coaches, Referees, Umpires, and Scorekeepers

At the Stanton City Park, we strive to offer a fun and safe environment for everyone to enjoy. As part of our safety efforts, we perform a criminal record check on anyone who is associated with our sports leagues. We also operate under a Zero Tolerance Policy towards violent, abusive, or disruptive behavior directed at any player, coach, umpire, referee, park employee or spectator. We require all individuals who are working with our sports leagues to agree to this policy.

If you are planning on working with one of our leagues this season, please submit our Sports League Worker Information & Zero Tolerance Policy form.

We offer many different sports at the Stanton City Park. Most of these require a referee or umpire at a certain age level. If you are interested in becoming a referee or umpire at the Stanton City Park, then you will need to:

  1. Register with the Stanton City Park (Must be done every season)

  2. Download and submit a W-9 form with Stanton City Hall (only fill out the first page).

Once this is complete, we will add you to our league management site, QuickScores, where you will receive information on registering with the site and where you will receive your game assignments.

Please note that the Registering with the Stanton City Park must be filled out at the start of every sports season. You can drop your W-9 form off at Stanton City Hall or in the drop box if you arrive after normal business hours. This only needs to be filled out once, unless your name changes.
